SL Studios is one of Ireland’s Largest Independent Recording Studios. It is a purpose built acoustically designed recording studio which insures world class tone!

The studio is owned and ran by Damian Brady. Damians background is in composing which eventually led to him becoming interested in Audio Engineering. Like many of us Damian wanted to record his own music as studio time was always out of reach when growing up.

Remembering his background Damian set out to build a studio that is affordable to everyone. While building the studio he thought back to his favorite records and how they where recorded and thought ‘I have to have a big space, something big enough to capture all the glory of natural ambiance and depth’ So he built a live room 29 feet by 27 feet with 13 foot high ceilings. This is a great size for a live room, big enough for live energy but not to big as to become washy and muddy! We have since recorded bands as big as 7 piece funk bands all live at once. With our 5 isolation booths this is possible. This is how many of the greats have recorded and we love this way of recording at SL Studios.

Damian has worked with such acts such as Pure M best female nominee Davina and The Messengers, The renowned Tom Cat and the Zodiacs, Up and comers Regroveanation, Well received Singer/Songwriter Luke Clerkin, Chart topping Aoife Parle, World renowned Kirtan artist Jyoshna, Celtic singer Alyth McCormack and many many more great acts!
